We understand the significance of preserving your cherished memories in this exquisite backdrop, and to assist you in doing so, we’ve crafted these comprehensive photography guidelines — ensuring that every snapshot taken reflects the grandeur and splendor of The Don CeSar.

The Don CeSar is a historical icon along the Gulf of Mexico. Its coastal surroundings, pristine white-sand beach, and Moorish Mediterranean architecture make the Pink Palace® one of the most photogenic buildings in all of Florida.

We allow the use of The Don CeSar property for film, TV commercials, and still photography shoots based upon certain criteria and Marketing Department approval. Professional photography of any kind is only allowed for our contracted wedding clients and/or in-house hotel guests, and it also must be scheduled and approved in advance.

Visitors and guests to The Don CeSar are permitted to take photographs and shoot videos for personal use only. Photography may not block, disrupt, or hinder visitor access or circulation of paths and walkways. Personal photographs and videos are not to be used for commercial purposes. Use of lamps, reflector shades, tripods, or change of outfits constitutes Professional Portrait Photography (see below).

Photo sessions are scheduled during the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday, unless special permission is granted. Photo sessions include engagement sessions, family portraits, anniversaries, quinceaneras, graduations, proms, maternitys, blogs, social media, styled shoots, birthdays, etc. Sessions must be scheduled five days in advance. Photographers must provide a copy of their COI. Wedding photography is only allowed for clients contracted for a wedding at The Don CeSar or Beach House Suites.

The fee for a one-hour session is $750 for up to 10 persons, including the photographer. Additional time is available at the rate of $500 per hour, with a minimum increment of one hour. Additional adult guests are $100 per person. All prices are pre-tax.

Photo sessions are approved on a case-by-case basis. Maximum of two sessions permitted each day. Payment is due upon arrival and a payment link will be provided once approved. The entire party must be present at the time of check-in. Film production pricing varies depending on the scope of work. The Don CeSar reserves the right to turn away photographers who meet the above criteria if they have not booked in advance and have the right of refusal based on community standards/content.

To ensure our guest experience and preserve the beauty and history of The Don CeSar, all guests are restricted from climbing or sitting along the dunes or railings. Such actions will result in removal from the property. All guests and visitors must remain on the designated walkways and be considerate of other guests’ privacy. If at any time a staff member witnesses unapproved photoshoots or behavior that disrupts other guests or the property, you may be asked to leave the premises.
